4. Purposes and legal bases

Providing the service

Including profile publication, ranking, payments and profile linking. Legal basis where applicable: performance of a contract or steps taken at the user's request prior to entering into a contract.

Payment processing

For completing payments, preventing fraud, processing refunds and resolving disputes. Legal bases may include contractual necessity, legal obligations and legitimate interests in payment security.

Tax and accounting

Transaction information may be processed and retained to comply with Austrian and other applicable tax and accounting obligations.

Security and fraud prevention

We may process necessary information to secure the service, prevent abuse, detect fraudulent bids and protect our legal rights. Legal basis may include legitimate interests and legal obligations.

Optional analytics

Non-essential analytics technologies are only used where legally required consent has been obtained.

Optional marketing

Marketing technologies such as Meta Pixel are only activated after appropriate consent where required.

5. Service providers

We use service providers necessary to operate the platform. These currently include:

Stripe

For payment processing, tax calculation, fraud prevention and payment-related services.

Supabase

For database, storage and backend infrastructure.

Lovable

For application development, deployment and related platform infrastructure.

Resend

For sending transactional email such as purchase confirmations, contractual and withdrawal information, and replies to content reports. Resend processes the recipient address and the content of those messages on our behalf.

Fonts and all other visual assets are served from our own infrastructure. No fonts, scripts or stylesheets are loaded from Google or other third-party content delivery networks, so no request is made to such providers when you open this website.

6. Google Analytics

9. Retention

Public profile data is generally retained while the listing remains active. Users may request deletion.

Payment, invoice and tax-relevant records may be retained for statutory retention periods, including applicable Austrian accounting and tax obligations. Where Austrian tax law requires it, relevant business records generally need to be retained for seven years, and longer where legally required in connection with pending proceedings.

Support communications may be retained as reasonably necessary to resolve the request and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Analytics data is not retained longer than necessary for its stated purpose.
