The Creator Leaderboard
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 23 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of The Creator Leaderboard and all bids placed through the platform.
The Creator Leaderboard is operated by Leiter Sales und Invest GmbH, Kefedergrundgasse 5, Block E, Tür 4, 1210 Vienna, Austria.
Contact: support@thecreatorleaderboard.com
By using the platform or placing a bid, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
The Creator Leaderboard is a public ranking platform.
Users may submit a profile containing information such as:
- name
- profile picture
- social media handle
- social media platform
- category
- social media profile link
Users may then place a monetary bid.
The amount of the valid paid bid determines the profile's ranking position.
The platform may contain:
- an Overall Leaderboard
- category-specific leaderboards
- public bid amounts
- public ranking positions
- profile visit statistics
- other platform statistics
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to submit a profile or place a bid.
By submitting a profile or completing a payment, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
The Creator Leaderboard is open to individuals, creators, influencers, businesses, brands and other eligible users. You do not need to be a professional content creator.
3. Profile submissions
You are responsible for the information and content you submit.
You may only submit a social media profile that belongs to you or that you are authorized to manage or represent. You may not submit or bid using another person's profile without their authorization.
You must not submit content that:
- is illegal
- infringes intellectual property rights
- unlawfully violates privacy or personality rights
- deliberately impersonates another person
- is fraudulent or materially misleading
- contains malicious links or malware
- contains pornographic or explicitly sexual material
- promotes hatred, terrorism or extremist organisations
- violates applicable law
- is intended to manipulate the platform
If you upload a profile picture or other material, you confirm that you have sufficient rights or another lawful basis to provide and use that material.
You grant Leiter Sales und Invest GmbH a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, resize and publicly display submitted material solely to operate and promote your listing and The Creator Leaderboard.
This licence ends when the relevant content is permanently removed, except where continued storage is required by law or for legitimate record-keeping.
4. How ranking works
Ranking is determined by the profile's valid total paid bid.
A higher total bid ranks above a lower total bid.
Profiles may simultaneously have an Overall rank and a Category rank.
If another user has a higher valid total bid, that profile may rank above yours. Your ranking position can therefore change at any time.
Your bid stays. Your rank can change.
A bid does not purchase a permanently guaranteed ranking position.
For example: Profile A bids $500 and Profile B bids $400, so Profile A ranks above Profile B. If Profile B later increases its total bid to $600, Profile B may move above Profile A.
5. Increasing a bid
A profile may increase its total bid.
If the current bid is $200 and the requested new total is $350, only the additional $150 is charged today. After successful payment, the ranking value becomes $350.
Only successfully settled payments count.
6. Duration of bids
A valid paid bid does not automatically expire.
The bid remains attached to the listing unless:
- it is refunded
- it is reversed
- a payment is successfully disputed
- the listing is removed where permitted under these Terms
- continued operation becomes impossible
- applicable law requires otherwise
The continued existence of a bid does not guarantee that the platform itself will operate indefinitely.
7. No guaranteed rank or performance
We do not guarantee:
- a specific ranking position
- that a rank will remain unchanged
- a minimum number of visitors
- profile visits
- followers
- engagement
- leads
- customers
- sales
- sponsorships
- collaborations
- revenue
- commercial success
- social media growth
Ranking depends on bids placed by other users. Website traffic also naturally changes over time.
8. Profile visit statistics
The Creator Leaderboard may show real measured visits to external social profiles.
Statistics may be subject to:
- duplicate filtering
- fraud prevention
- bot detection
- technical corrections
- consent limitations
- measurement inaccuracies
We may correct or remove artificially generated traffic. Attempting to manipulate profile visit statistics is prohibited.
9. Prices and taxes
The amount selected as the bid is the total gross amount the customer pays.
All bids are denominated in US dollars (USD), the platform's single ranking currency.
Example: selected bid $100, amount charged $100, leaderboard value $100.
Applicable taxes are included where required. Tax does not reduce the public leaderboard value.
Therefore, if $100 is selected and successfully paid, the profile's ranking value increases by $100 regardless of the portion of the payment attributable to tax.
Tax treatment may depend on:
- customer location
- customer status
- applicable tax law
- valid VAT or tax identification information
Payment and tax calculations may be performed through Stripe and Stripe Tax.
10. Payments
Payments are processed through Stripe.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, bids are one-time payments, not subscriptions and not recurring charges.
The Creator Leaderboard does not directly store complete credit card details.
A ranking increase only occurs after successful payment confirmation. Failed, expired, cancelled or abandoned payments do not count.
11. Refunds
Bids are generally not voluntarily refundable after the service has begun.
However, this does not exclude rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Refunds may be provided where:
- required by applicable consumer law
- there has been a duplicate charge
- there has been an incorrect charge
- we approve a refund
- the service cannot be provided
- another mandatory legal refund right applies
Where a payment is refunded in whole or in part, the refunded amount ceases to count toward the ranking. This may immediately change the profile's ranking position.
12. Removal requested by a user
A user may request removal of a profile by contacting support@thecreatorleaderboard.com.
Voluntary removal of a listing does not by itself create a right to a refund, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
Certain transaction records may continue to be retained where required for accounting, taxation, fraud prevention or legal claims.
13. Payment disputes and chargebacks
If a payment becomes subject to a chargeback or payment dispute, the disputed amount may temporarily cease to count toward the leaderboard.
If the dispute is resolved in favour of the payment, the amount may be restored.
If the payment is permanently reversed, the corresponding ranking value will be removed.
Users who believe a billing error occurred may contact support@thecreatorleaderboard.com.
14. Consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer protection rights.
Consumers in the European Union may in particular have statutory withdrawal rights for distance contracts. See our Withdrawal Policy.
15. Immediate provision of the service
Where a consumer expressly requests immediate performance, The Creator Leaderboard may begin providing the ranking service immediately after payment confirmation.
This does not automatically eliminate statutory withdrawal rights.
Any loss or limitation of a statutory withdrawal right only occurs where the requirements of applicable law are satisfied.
16. Suspension and removal
We may restrict, suspend or remove a listing where reasonably necessary because of:
- illegal content
- infringement of third-party rights
- fraud
- payment fraud
- chargebacks
- manipulated traffic
- security risks
- serious violations of these Terms
- legal or regulatory requirements
Where legally required, affected users will be informed of the reason for a moderation decision. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
17. Service availability
We aim to keep The Creator Leaderboard available but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Temporary interruptions may occur because of:
- maintenance
- security incidents
- third-party outages
- hosting failures
- force majeure
- technical problems
We may improve or modify technical features where this does not unlawfully deprive customers of paid contractual rights.
18. Permanent discontinuation
The Creator Leaderboard is not guaranteed to operate forever.
If the service is permanently discontinued, we will handle existing paid listings in accordance with applicable contract and consumer law.
Nothing in these Terms permits us to retain payments where mandatory law requires reimbursement.
19. Intellectual property
The The Creator Leaderboard brand, website design, software, original text, logos and other platform materials belong to Leiter Sales und Invest GmbH or its licensors.
Users retain rights in content they lawfully submit. No ownership of user content transfers to us.
20. External platforms
Listings may link to third-party platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn and others.
The Creator Leaderboard is independent from these platforms unless explicitly stated otherwise. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, policies or content.
21. Liability
We are liable in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law, including liability for intent, gross negligence where legally applicable, personal injury or mandatory consumer claims.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept liability for indirect commercial expectations such as anticipated follower growth, sales, sponsorships or revenue that were never guaranteed as part of the service.
22. Governing law
Austrian law applies.
For consumers, this choice of law does not deprive them of mandatory consumer protection provisions that apply under the law of their habitual residence. For consumers, mandatory statutory rules concerning jurisdiction remain unaffected.
For business customers, to the extent legally permissible, the competent courts in Vienna, Austria shall have jurisdiction.
23. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms where reasonably necessary, including because of:
- changes to the service
- changes in law
- security requirements
- regulatory requirements
Changes shall not retroactively deprive users of mandatory statutory rights.
The version applicable to a completed transaction is recorded with that transaction where technically practical.
