Consumer Right of Withdrawal

This policy applies where mandatory consumer withdrawal law applies, including eligible consumers in the European Union.

Right of withdrawal

Where applicable, a consumer has the right to withdraw from a distance service contract within 14 days without giving a reason.

The withdrawal period generally begins on the day the service contract is concluded.

Exercising the right

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must inform:

Immediate performance

The ranking service normally begins immediately following successful payment.

EU consumers are therefore given a separate, unchecked option before purchase to expressly request that performance begins before expiry of the 14-day withdrawal period.

Where legally applicable, if a consumer withdraws after expressly requesting immediate performance, the consumer may be required to pay an amount proportionate to the services already provided up to the time of withdrawal.

The statutory withdrawal right only expires before the end of the withdrawal period where all legal requirements for such expiry have actually been satisfied. The Creator Leaderboard does not claim that the right automatically disappears merely because a bid becomes visible immediately.

Consequences of withdrawal

Where a valid withdrawal occurs, payments subject to the withdrawal will be reimbursed as required by applicable law.

Refunds will generally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed. The related ranking value will be removed.
